Catherine Zeta Jones treated for bipolar

Walking the red carpet at the Museum of New York contemporary art this week, Michael Douglas felt grateful for all the wishes he has received from friends and fans as he battled cancer.

"I feel great!" Actor, 66, told people at an event Tuesday night to celebrate the 120 anniversary of Carnegie Hall. "I feel tremendous support from many people."

There is no event has been his biggest supporter: his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones. Several hours later, it became clear that she quietly seek healing yourself. Her representative says the actress recently joined a site within a few days to treat her bipolar disorder II.

Revelation was surpsing for many, not least because the Oscar actress and mother-of-two has remained consistently positive in keeping with the public side Douglas through a grueling six-month battle with cancer.

But behind the scenes near the actress said that she felt the tension. Its representative acknowledged timing Zeta-Jones, 41, seeking treatment was partly due to "stress the past year."

Adds another, "Catherine had to deal with the illness of Michael, and it was hard."
