In connection with the drama surrounding Charlie Sheen, Two and a Half Men have been on hiatus since January 2011, but this does not mean that the cast of the hit CBS comedy has been sitting idly waiting for work. Angus T Jones, 17, who plays Jake on the men, recently appeared on the Creative Coalition Gala in Washington, DC, appearing like he lost weight (click here to see photos).
This was not a surprise to us, as Jones clearly has the money to do what ever he wanted to make: 17-year-old makes the astonishing quarter of a million dollars per episode. Jones was even paid a few months ago not to even work in connection with the Shin dismissal of comedy and production on the series being stopped.
Jones was on the men since its inception in 2003, as he was about 9 years old and grew up in almost adults ever since. The fate of the series is still unknown, and if this return will begin filming this summer in time for the premiere later this fall. With Sinn was fired from the show were conflicting rumors that Sheen returns to the series, as well as other sources, noting that Warner Brothers is scouting for a replacement bus.
