Her Highness Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saif cut the ribbon in a private ladies only launching ceremony of four days of fashion, beauty and shopping extravaganza, which brings together the cream of the regional industry weddings, international retailers, brides-to-be and thousands of fans UAE fashion.

After the official launch of the Bride Show Dubai opened its doors to the public and currently is at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre on Saturday, April 2. More than 300 local and international exhibitors are taking part to provide one-stop-shop for brides planning a wedding and the women who love fashion, beauty and jewelry.

Eighteen fashion shows will be held over four days of the event, the largest event of its kind open to the public by offering access to the front row. Visitors on the opening day saw a wedding design and high fashion evening wear from After You Say Yes - SIMA, Dabya Haute Couture, beautiful people - Sakina Mohsin, Mina Rose Haute Couture and Demetrius.

Now in its 14 th year, Bride Show Dubai has a fresh feel for 2011. The new VIP entrance fee will give customers access to the VIP-hall, where they can get free treatment from the tips of the hands and feet, the largest network of salons nail in the Middle East. Trained professionals will offer beauty rejuvenation in the form of the head, neck and shoulder massage, nail changes color and nails.

Those who prefer to pay for VIP-input can also use the Goodie bags with exhibitor products, snacks, and are protected by front-row seat for all fashion shows.

Adding international flair, Fashion Avenue features a wedding retailers from France, Italy, Morocco, Romania, India, Thailand, UK and USA, all of whom flew to Dubai to meet the bride to be and their family members and show their best wedding dresses and accessories. Visitors can view the designs from an Italian wedding, Julien Mattion and Curtis, all of Italy, as well as the French brands Farage, Promincor and La Maison Saouli.

Bride Show Dubai is open from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Wednesday 30 March to Saturday, 2 April 2011 in the Sheikh Said Halls 1, 2 and 3, Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
