Happy Fat Tuesday everyone! I could not think of a better way to celebrate than by sharing a traditional king cake, king cakes are traditionally made for Mardi Gras celebrations. Hard to believe that Easter is already here, but fasting and sacrifice begin with the Lenten season tomorrow, there is one last day of his life and fill up on all your favorite treats! This king cake completes the triple Mardi Gras for me this year: the shrimp and sausage jambalaya, homemade cakes moon, and now the king cake.
