Hot Disscussion In World Is Libya

Many countries in the world on Thursday opposed any military intervention in riot-affected Libya in the background of increasing demands compliance with the no-fly zone over the North African country.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Damascus opposes all forms of outside interference in the affairs of Libya, and stressed his respect for the sovereignty, independence and unity
"Syria calls for civilian life, ending of violence against the Libyan people and resorting to wisdom and dialogue," the official SANA news agency reported.
The African Union also rejected "any form of foreign military intervention" in Libya.

"The Council reaffirms its strong commitment to the unity and territorial integrity of Libya," said Ramtane Lamamra, the Commissioner of the African Union Peace and Security Council.
Announcement came after NATO ministers decided on Thursday the movement of ships in the central Mediterranean, but failed to reach agreement on the introduction of the no-fly zone over Libya.

"These ships will improve situational awareness of NATO, which is vital in the current circumstances, and they will contribute to our observation and monitoring capabilities," NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said after a meeting of defense ministers in Brussels .
