Chicago's Pitchfork Music Festival

Pitchfork Music Festival Chicago, one of the leading annual event for fans of indie music (July 15-17), announced July 1 its plans to expand internationally for the first time, with a two-day festival in Paris, with the headliner (and curator) Bon Iver.
Paris event will run Wil on October 28-29 in La Grande Halle de la Villette in the Parc de la Villette, Paris, and will include 20 bands and DJs, hoping to attract about 10,000 people. Other acts should carry out so far include Justin Vernon, Jens Lekman, wild animals, Cut Copy, Kathleen Edwards, and Pantha du Prince.
Bon Iver, the international chart-topping act with the release of a new self-titled second album, will headline the event on Saturday, Oct. 29, as well as myself pick up the band to perform. Two day passes are already on sale, run € 79,90. For more information, including full composition and drawing, will be revealed in coming weeks.
Fleet Foxes, Animal Collective, TV on the radio and take the main stage in Chicago this year's event, now in its sixth year. Other acts in the series include James Blake, in my Toro, Guided By Voices, Das Racist, Haunted Graffiti Ariel Pink, Cut Copy, Deerhunter, Destroyer, Ugh, among many others. Single-day ticket costs $ 45 (€ 32) and are available at Ticketweb.com.
Other international supply festivals for indie fans and refraining from corporate sponsorships include the Barcelona Primavera Sound (July 27-28) with Animal Collective, Joanna Newson and Beach House. In addition, in the UK All Party event will take place tomorrow, the curator of Portishead at the Alexandra Palace London, July 23 and 24, from Portishead, PJ Harvey, caribou, and many other indie acts.
