Josh Turner Surprises Scotty McCreery

Even if you are not watching this season, American Idol and hate country music, you still have to watch these pathetic videos. In it, the country superstar Josh Turner surprises Scotty McCreery, one of three leading participants in the idol, during a visit to his hometown. If you're a fan of one or both of you enjoy it even more.

McCreery is a country guy at the show this year. Just at 17, he is humble, down to earth, and only seems to be a good guy. As it before in his hometown to attend (and those who are always in motion is enough) in Garner, North Carolina, Turner takes the stage. At first, McCreery has no idea why the crowd is going wild, when he realizes Turner on stage with him, he is blown away. You can say it was a complete surprise to McCreery and does not rehearse. I like that and I think that too few true surprises in life ... with joyful kind anyway.

I'm also a total SAP, when it comes to American Idol. I get teary every time I see stories of participants, their hopes and dreams, and joy in their eyes and their families when they loudly sing the melody. And to see this young guy - he just junior in high school - to meet and speak with his idol just melts me into a puddle of tears.

Plus, as my former punk-rock loving yourself is terrible to admit, I love country music for many years. The first song they performed together "Your Man" is one of my current favorites, and by the way McCreery Turner songs were listened to and acted on Idol. The second was sung the first hit of Turner, "Long Black Train," which is another great tune. For, as nervous as McCreery was, he did an amazing job at maintaining his composure, and they sounded good together.
