Congress leader and former Union Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh has died in New Delhi on Friday. Singh, who was adopted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), died of a heart arrest.In condolence message to Smt. Saroj Devi, wife of late Shri Arjun Singh, the Minister said: "I was really shocked to hear the sad demise of long-term leader in the late Shri Arjun Singh Ji, today. His death created a vacuum in Indian politics, whose contribution to the service of the Congress Party and the nation-state construction of an unforgettable experience. I extend my sincere condolences and pray to God that left the soul may rest in eternal peace and the Almighty gives to his family enough strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss. "
