Celebrate 7-Eleven's Birthday

What better way to cool on a hot July day than with a Slurpee from 7-Eleven? Better yet, free Slurpee from 7-Eleven?
Today, only the 7-Eleven is celebrating his birthday and the eighty-fourth, all clients get to celebrate. Although available in limited and one-on-one client, the five million free 7.11 ounce Slurpees be given at participating 7-Eleven in the United States and Canada.
"Even without the five million free Slurpee drinks in July is the biggest month of the year for Slurpee sales," said Jesus Delgado-Jenkins, 7-Eleven to senior vice president of merchandising, marketing and logistics in the press release. "What better way to drink for the hot months of the year."
Good luck, 7-Eleven on West Eagle Road Havertown to help people cool down on this hot July day with a free Slurpee. And it's really hot, with the National Weather Service predicting it could rise to 91 degrees today.
Although the manager declined to be interviewed by Haverford-Havertown Patch, store takes part every year since 7-Eleven took the event. Free Slurpee event has occurred since 2002, when 7-Eleven celebrates its 75th anniversary.
Opening its first convenience store in 1927 in a suburb of Dallas, a shop selling only bread, milk and eggs to the ice dock and 84 years later, according to a press release.
Two years ago, 7-Eleven stores were given 3 million Slurpees, but now recently increased to 5 million free Slurpees because of the recent use of social media to spread the word.
