yuri gagarin Limited Edition Pen

Montegrappa, the most revered producers in Italy of fine writing instruments, today announced a new set of limited edition pens to commemorate the 50 anniversary of the prominent Russian cosmonaut, Yuri Gagarin into space. As the first man in space, Gagarin's historic journey launched a manned space flight, and began an exciting period of global interest in space exploration.
Born in 1934 in Klushino, Russia, Gagarin, Soviet Air Force pilot who in 1960 after the completion of the selection process, was selected with 19 other pilots for the Soviet space program. Gagarin was also selected for the training of an elite group known as Sochi, six of which the first astronauts East program will be selected. He became the first man to travel into space when the East 3KA-3 (East-1) spacecraft completed Earth orbit April 12, 1961.
Originally conceived as part of a new collection of Montegrappa Cosmopolitan, the value of the 50 th anniversary of space flight of Yuri Gagarin has elevated the status of autonomous pen limited edition set.
Montegrappa's artisans are engraved with the image of a barrel of Yuri Gagarin in bas-relief, bordered by the interplanetary motif, and the cover features the coat of arms of the USSR. Pocket clip, equipped with a rotating ball on the end to facilitate insertion and removal from the pocket, surrounded by reproductions of the monuments of Moscow, Yuri Gagarin, completed in 1980 and located in the square Gagarin. The handle has a built-in piston filling feeding mechanism, which provides ink to the two-tone 18-karat gold pen with ebonite feeder.
Both roller and ball pens come in a wooden box presentation. Box cover is decorated with metal plaque engraved with a picture of Yuri Gagarin, along with a memorable message in Cyrillic. Box for the pen also includes a complimentary bottle of ink.
