Hints About Territory War

Susan Rice, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, said Wednesday she wanted to report war crimes in 2008-09 from Gaza offensive to "disappear".
Israel launched an offensive in the besieged Gaza Strip, which he had killed 1500 Palestinians, mostly with women and children.
Israel urged the United Nations for the abolition of the 2009 report of the UN Human Rights Council of the South African jurist Richard Goldstone, has said that Israel was "punishing and terrorizing" civilians in the Gaza Strip in a disproportionate attack in three weeks of war in the territory.
However, last week, Goldstone writes in Washington Post, the Israeli investigation of the conflict in Gaza, said civilians were not "deliberately" targeted.
Netanyahu urged the UN to cancel the report war crimes, as Israeli Foreign Minister Lieberman attributed Goldstone back-pedal "diplomatic efforts."
Rice told a congressional hearing that "we want it to disappear and will no longer be a subject of discussion and debate in the Human Rights Council or the General Assembly or outside it."
"We do not see the need ... for the Goldstone report for review and now, when its main author, said that he had said," frankly, in our view increases, it should go, and that's what we'll work to do, "she said. Israel has repeatedly refused to cooperate with the investigation of the Goldstone.
Rice said the United States has not seen "no evidence" at the time that Israel has deliberately or civilians in war crimes. "
Rice described the U.S. role in UN Council on Human Rights, claiming that it is better for the United States to continue cooperation and to oppose "anti-Israel bias" in the Council, and not turn our backs.
"Report of the Goldstone
Israeli forces deliberately attacked civilians, failed to take precautions to minimize civilian casualties and provided compelling evidence of the Israeli forces have committed "grave breaches" of Geneva Convention, the 575-page report said.
"Shooting from the white phosphorus shells and the use of high explosive artillery shells were identified as violations of humanitarian law, according to a UN report said.
Goldstone said the Israeli blockade of Gaza, which began before the attack amounted to "collective punishment" for 1.5 million Gazans, most of which rely on aid to survive.
